Social Safety Nets in Bangladesh Volume 131 Mar 2012
Social Safety Nets (SSNs) have emerged as an essential component in the fight
against poverty. Initially focused only on protection goals, they are now
increasingly combining promotional goals. Over the years, Bangladesh has

framework within which to consolidate SSNs has emerged as an increasing
pre-occupation within the wider policy community.
