    Case management seminar held

    A day long Case Management Seminar was organized by Judicial Strengthening project (JUST) on 13 December 2013 with the participation of all the judges of the High Court and Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. The objective of the workshop was to share knowledge, experience and views about the case management mechanism of the High Court Division and Swat Analysis of its strengths and weakness with a view to identify the deficiencies and impediments.

    Towards Judicial Reforms in Bangladesh

    Workshop on digital Bangladesh for journalists

    A day long workshop on the different issues of digital Bangladesh for the journalists of Dhaka Division was held at Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) auditorium on 16 November. UNDP and USAID supported Access to Information (a2i) Programme of the Prime Minister's office with the help of Press Institute of Bangladesh organised this workshop. As many as 48 journalists from Dhaka and different districts of Dhaka Division participated the programme.

    Sharing South-South judicial knowledge

    Workshop for core trainers held

    The Election Commission Bangladesh (ECB) will be required to train over 600,000 election workers for the upcoming 10th parliamentary elections. In preparation for this huge task, the Electoral Training Institute (ETI) of the ECB organized a workshop for Core Trainers on the 1-2 November 2013. This is the first in a series of cascade trainings expected in the coming months ahead of the next parliamentary polls.
