a2i unveils new logoDec 30, 2013
At a casual program arranged on 30 December, 2013 at the Prime Minister’s Office, the Access to Information (a2i) Program unveiled a new logo. Mr. Kabir Bin Anwar, Project Director of a2i and Director General (Administration),Prime Minister’s Office handed over the check of BDT- 1 Lakh for the logo design competition to the winner Jahir Uddin Zummon.
Access to Information (a2i) Program is being implemented by the Prime Minister’s Office through technical support of UNDP and USAID arranged the logo designing competition. Interested logo designers submitted their logos through the facebook page of a2i programme. It was a three week long competition and total of 714 logos were submitted.
Masudur Rahman Associate Professor of Graphics Design Department, Dhaka University, Tarik Hasan Executive Director of Unitrend Ltd. and Naimuzzaman Mukta, Peoples Perspective Specialist of a2i program were in the panel of judging. The logo was designed based on green and red, the colors of national flag and also included the national bird. Ultimately service @doorsteps will be the moto of this new logo.
Along with Project Director, high officials of Prime Minister's Office, partner organizations media people and a2i officials were present at the logo launching ceremony.
