National Resilience Programme (NRP) has published study report on Community Resilience in Six Hotspots. This report served as background document for 8th Five Years Plan in identifying community need for disaster risk reduction in the hotspot areas as identified in Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100.

The study recommended nationwide and hotspot based resilience initiatives   which includes – upazila based resilience program, resilient housing and emergency shelter reconstruction, establishment of agro-based industry in rural and sub urban areas, safe housing for coastal and flood affected people, addressing lighting effects, formation of Flood Preparedness Volunteers etc.
